The gantry-type sludge scraper is widely used for removing sludge and floating debris in flow-through sedimentation tanks and sand settling tanks. It mainly consists of a driving device, main beam, lifting device, scraper, and electronic control system. Depending on different requirements, the mud collection trough and slag collection trough can be set at the same end or separated at both ends of the sedimentation tank. The working process of the mud machine is as follows: the ma chine starts from one end of the tank (outlet end) and travels to the other end (inlet end), conveying the sludge until the scraper is lifted at the end, then the machine changes direction and returns to the starting end to begin another cycle. The equipment moves in a straight line along the steel rail under the drive of the driving device, and the scraper on the bottom of the tank pushes the collected sludge into the mud collection trough.
It is mainly used in industries such as petrochemical,textile,food, papermaking, printing and dyeing, brewing, pharmaceuticals, and leather, as well as in industrial wastewater treatment and urban municipal wastewater treatment plants.
