The spray tower is a type of equipment used for treating waste gases, commonly employed in industrial waste gas treatment. It is utilized to address harmful constituents present in exhaust gases. The apparatus responsible for purifying exhaust gases is also referred to as a spray tower or wet scrubber. The exhaust gas is introduced into the purification tower through an air pipe and passes through a packing layer. The exhaust gas and the spray absorption liquid come into full con-tact within the gas-liquid two-phase system, undergoing an absorption and neutralization reaction before being released into the atmosphere. The absorption liquid, pressurized by a water pump at the tower's base,is sprayed downwards from the upper part of the tower through installed spray pipes and spray heads, subsequently returning to the tower's base for recycling. The purified exhaust gas, meeting local emission standards, exits through an outlet pipe at the top of the tower and is discharged. Since the spray tower typically handles more acidic mist-containing exhaust gases, it is also known as an acid mist exhaust gas tower.
High efficiency in dust removal and desulfurization. The tower lacks fllers or trays and instead features nozzles. Liquid is introduced from the tower's top and is sprayed into mist or raindrops through these nozzles, while gas enters from the lower part of the tower, closely interacting with the mist or raindrops to faclitate mass transfer. This process enables the absorption of soluble components present in the gas.
1.The structure is simple, less prone to blockages, exhibits low resistance, and is easy to operate and maintain. When alkaline washing water is used, desulfurization efficiency can reach up to 85%.
2. The spray tower represents the simplest equipment for gas absorption. Within the tower, liquid acts as the dispersed phase, while gas functions as the continuous phase. Generally, the gasiquid ratio is low, making it suitable for extremely rapid or fast chemical reactions. The equipment requires minimal space and is easy to install.
3. Low water and electricity consumption rates.
4. The spray tower (also referred to as a spray tower) is the most straightforward equipment for gas absorption. In this tower, liquid is the dispersed phase, and gas constitutes the continuous phase. The relatively small gas-liquid ratio make sit well-suited for processes involving extremely rapid or fast chemical reactions, The tower demonstrates excellent corrosion resistance, minimal wear, and a long service life.
